Sports Interactive (SI), the developers of the popular Football Manager series, have announced the cancellation of Football Manager 25 (FM25), originally scheduled for release in March 2025. This decision follows multiple delays and extensive internal discussions. SI cited technical challenges in achieving their ambitious goals for the game's visual and technical advancements as the reason for the cancellation. Despite meeting many of their objectives, the overall player experience and interface did not meet their standards.
